Zondag 18 september is het voor de zesde keer weer zover. Op meer dan 20 podia vieren de meest uiteenlopende woordkunstenaars van België en Nederland het Festival van het Woord, Zuiderzinnen. De fine fleur van schrijvers, dichters, zangers, acteurs, journalisten en politici houden u een hele middag in de ban van het woord, dit vanaf 12 tot 21 uur. Namen als Wim De Bie, Jan Mulder, Remco Campert, Tom Lanoye, Kristien Hemmerechts, Herman Brusselmans, Lulu Wang, Tom Naegels, Antje De Boeck, Marc De Bel, Marcel Vanthilt, Anna Enquist, de Zuid Afrikaanse vedette Etienne Van Heerden… Ook Bart Peeters op het grote podium voor het Museum voor Schone Kunsten, of in de Arenberg een intimistisch concert van Raymond Van ‘t Groenewoud alsmede Rick De Leeuw, mijn favoriet. Klik hiervoor het volledig programma. Het thema dit jaar is ‘Steden’. Antwerpen, Gent, Londen, Parijs, Amsterdam, krijgen allemaal extra aandacht. Weer een overvoed aan keus dus, soms zeer moeilijk om te kiezen en een geloop van het één naar de andere lokatie. Onmogelijk om alles te beleven… Vergeet ook niet dat die dag Antwerpen autovrij is!
